Q: I want to get the 2009 Mazda 6?
Im 22, I have a decent job, decent credit, i just graduated with my bachelors and I am in need of a new car. I really want the 2009 Mazda 6 but I don't know if that is a good choice. I have a crappy 1998 Saturn SL2, can i trade that? Is it worth anything? How much should I put down? I just need an economical fun car. I have friends who want to go with me because they think they know about cars. But some say to get a new car because it is a good time to buy... and some say to get a used car because they have lower interest. I don't know what to do, or where to start?! I just don't want to get ripped off. Is there a step by step guide to buying a car?
A: I drive a 2008 Mazda 6i (4 cylinder), but the 2009 is much improved.
The '08' Mazda 6i is a great car if you like to drive. Smooth riding, very
capable car on the highway. I bought mine about 5 weeks
ago. Its very roomy, although the reviews say that the back
seat is small. I have sat back there and its more then anough
room. I am 6 feet tall. Gas mileage is around 23-25 mpg in
mixed city and highway driving. I have the Mazda 6i (4
cylinder). Pickup is average, but highway driving is where
this car really excels. It is marketed as a sports sedan and
that is what you have here. On curvy roads, this car takes
corners like its on rails. All around seating is very
comfortable. The trunk is the largest in this segment. The
front seats are bulstered to support you in agressive driving.
The radio is top notch, good sound, good bass. The looks of
the car are eye catching. Steering is right on center. In
highway driving, you need to be aware of your speed. The
car drives so smooth that even with the 4 cylinder, cruising at
80+ mph is very easy. and smooth.
All in all, great car, sporty looking, get it, you will not think
twice once you are behind the wheel!!!

You have a '98' Saturn and that should be good toward a trade in.
Shop around before settling on a car. there are deals to be had. Try
sites like Edmunds.com, KBB.com, car and driver.com for reviews.
Shop the dealer web sites and send out emails to the internet
departments at the dealers. They will be happy to give youa quote.
You can always compare the offers they send you. there maybe offers
out there for new grads as well. Good luck, but you can't go wrong
with the Mazda 6.
Q: 2009 Mazda 6 Bluetooth Question?
I just paired my phone to my new Mazda 6 with the navi. That worked fine. But when I went to download my phonebook on to the navigation screen, only the names displayed, but there were no numbers. When I tried to call one of the phonebook contacts, it would not let me because none of them had numbers to them. I checked the list of compatible phones and mine was compatible. So arent my contact numbers being uploaded?
A: try and disconnect your phone then connect again, if that fails, call customer support.
Q: My car rims are 16 MAZDA 6 2009 and i will change it to 18 is this effect in the car speed nd in gas cost?
please if u know the best rims brand?
A: Manuel,
Surely this is an exciting time for you. I am guessing you cannot wait to change out tires and rims. From my experience I would recommend Enkei rims. I cannot say they are the best that money can buy, but the have performed admirably over the last 4 years on my Mazda. I upgraded to 18" rims and tires at the same time lowering the car. For tires I can recommend Michelin as the best tire. I am running Falken tires which are better for the budget.
My 17" Mazda rims weighed 23 pounds, yours will tell you their weight in the owners manual. My Enkei rims weigh 18 pounds. If you physically take your Mazda to a tire shop and let them know your intentions to upgrade to 18" rims and tires, they can make sure the wheel diameter is appropriate in the wheel well, and the overall wheel package weight is on par with matching manufactured performance specs. If these elements are lined up the cost on gas and overall speed should be no different.
The biggest change that will take getting used to is a more sporty sophisticated look. lol. Cheers.
Q: 2010 Mazda 3 vs. 2009 Mazda 6?
Should I buy the Mazda 6, or wait until the end of March to get the 2010 Mazda 3? Pros and cons of each? This will be my first car!
I won't be paying for it... my parents will!:)
A: First car.. well here is something you may not have thought of.. The Mazda3 has a lower insurance cost than the 6 does.
The 3 also has a lower cost to start with.
The 6 has a LOT more room. I am 6foot2 and when i have the drivers seat adjusted for me to drive, I can sit comfortably behind it as well. In the 3 I can not sit in the back seat unless the front seat is all the way forward and I can not drive it unless the front seat is all the way back. Take a look at your friends and see if they could fit in the back with the seats back. Unless you have short friends they wont...But as it is your first car then you really dont want any distractions. Seasoned drivers make more mistakes with friends in the car than without.
Q: should I buy a v4 or v6 2009 mazda 6 ?
A: Definitely V4, unless you have money to burn on gas. I rented a 6-cylinder car before and the tank was almost half empty after a few trips. Trust me, compared to a 4-cylinder, the 6-cylinder burns gas like its water. Good Luck!
Q: i will buy mazda 6 2009 2.0 basic is mazda good?
i stay in dubai it cost here (the basic one) 66000 A.E.D or 18000 $
A: I have heard that mazda cars don't fail very often ... to be exact... they fail in a very rare number ...
but .. when they fail it is very probable that you will have greatest cost than with other cars and may be it will take more time to be fixed.
I would definitely buy a mazda.
Q: What you think of the mazda 6 2009?
is it a decent FIRST car for a teenage girl [such as myself:)]Which trim do you prefer? How does it handle? How safe is it? I heard the side mirrors are a bit small...does that cause problems for you guys who have one? what about gas mileage? Is it a speed monster? If you have any extra comments...that's good too:]
it's a beautiful car, but I'm looking for quality and safety:]
eh....im only 15 and have been obsessing over this car for a couple months...I'm getting my license in a month...wish me LUCK.
thanks in advance:]]]
A: It is too much car for a young teen. The Mazda 6 has some kick and a teen might get in trouble quick with that kind of "Zoom-Zoom" Safety wise, it's like any vehicle. The machine performs as well as the seat to steeringwheel link.
Q: I am leasing a 05 Mazda 6 and my lease ends Feb. 2009. Should I trade it in now or wait till my lease ends.?
The vehicle has minor body damage in several areas and I am sure I will have to pay some $$$ when I turn it in. I want to purchase a new vehicle but are not sure if I should wait till the lease ends or just trade it in now.
A: It's nearly always best to wait until lease-end to return your car. You most likely have no trade equity right now and you certainly don't want to add negative equity to a new car. A dealer will gladly talk you into a new car now, but he'll add the negative equity from your lease into the cost of the new car. And you'll probably get a bill from the lease company later for the damages, since the dealer will not actually trade for the car. Instead, he'll turn it in to the lease company.
Before you return the car, you should have the damage fixed. It'll cost you less to have it done yourself rather than get a big bill from the lease company later.
